Richard Lainhart biography
Richard Lainhart is an electronic avant-garde ambient like artist who carries on the way written by early minimalist composers and popular artists as Harold Budd and Brian Eno. His work includes a large variety of instruments, from bowed tams tams, Japanese temple bells, voices to organic (Moog) synth chords and computer programs. All composition reveal weird, spacious and transcendent drone ambiences. The works collected in Ten Thousand shades of blue (from the 70s and the 80s ) are a brilliant demonstration of Richard Lainhart's dreamlike atmospheres and loops.
