Beltane biography
BELTANE is a progressive death metal band formed in Germany in 2005.The band line-up consists of members;Daniel Edelmeier (harsh vocals),Mirko Weber (guitar),Markus Holin (guitar),Julian Frederik Fischer (drums) and Marius Borjans (bass,clean vocals).

The band self-released a 3 song demo in 2005 titled "Observation Vortex".After three years of relentless rehearsal and playing live gigs locally,BELTANE released their debut album "Expressionist" in 2008.The album contains extracts of poems from Georg Trakl,August Stramm and Georg Heym,and also parts of William Shakespeares drama "Hamlet".

BELTANE cites numerous influences such as DEATH,DARK SUNS,OPETH,INTO ETERNITY,AYREON,EVERGREY and RIVERSIDE,and try to focus on variety in their music while avoiding stereotypical metal cliches.
