Midday Veil biography
A Seattle-based experimental ensemble harmonized between visual and auditory art MIDDAY VEIL got started in 2008, formed by a visual artist / vocalist Emily POTHAST and an auditory head / synthesizer player David GOLIGHTLY, while joining of a gemmy multi-instrumentalist Timm MASON as a baritone guitarist could shift their soundscape audaciously to more variational, more dramatic one in early 2009. They recruited a bassist Jayson KOCHAN and a percussionist Sam YODAR. In 2012 Garrett MOORE replaced the original drummer Chris POLLINA, and they solidified themselves as the perfect lineup.

MIDDAY VEIL have gigged regularly the Western US since 2009, featuring the opening act for FAUST upon a Northwesr Mini Tour in 2012 and the performance at Austin Psych Fest's Levitaion in the same year. During various gigs or tours, they released theri debut creation "Eyes All Around" in 2010 upon a US label Trannslinguistic Other.
