Tempel biography
Formally known as TEMPLE until 2013, TEMPEL was founded in 2003 by Ryan WENZEL on guitars and keyboards and Rich CORLE on drums. Based out of Phoenix, Arizona, this instrumental act weaves an unusually dark and atmospheric brand of metal that builds upon a post-metal base with 'blackened' influences and doom metal inspired riffs. Their melodic yet haunting soundscapes plays as an adventurous drift though forbidden and dangerous terrain. Their debut full length album, ''On The Steps Of The Temple'', took three years to create and was finally released on January 21st of 2014 to much critical acclaim in metal circles.
