Symphony biography
SYMPHONY, previously known as DARK DOOM and SYMPHONY OF DESPAIR, are a progressive metal band from Ostrowiec Swietokrzyski, Poland, been around in some form or another since 1995 with many line-up changes. Their style has changed through the years, with the band disbanding in 2001 and re-uniting in 2003 with the new name. In 2006 they released their self-titeld demo and in 2008 the full length ''Mind Reflections'' through Insanity Records. The latest line-up consists of Tosiek (Vocals), Michal SOKOL (Guitars), Andrzej WINIARSKI (Guitars), Mariusz ZURAWSKI (Keyboards), Lukasz KSIAZEK (Bass), and Radek RZESA (Drums), while past members include Kamil RUSZKOWSKI (Drums, 2003) and MALY (Vocals, 2003-2005). Their album is also now available online via Rockonaut.

''Mind Reflections'' is certainly a pure progressive metal album, reminiscent to acts such as ARTENSION and SYMPHONY X, but also ELDRITCH, PAIN OF SALVATION and IQ, focusing on the melodies of guitars and keyboards.
