1 stars Sure, not bad if you are a huge Invisible Touch fan, for me the videos were getting really crass at this time and only the lively ' Anything She Does' stands out. This was a quick release to make an even quicker buck. A few die-hards may disagree with me but watching Tony Banks trying out drums on the IT video looks silly really even in jest. I think without trying to knock the band it was more the era- mid to late 80's when videos were particularly poor on the production side. My VHS is getting tired and should it ever go onto DVD or whater media used for that given technological era, well it will certainly not be refreshed in my collection. In one word...poor.

3 stars I saw this video when it was broadcasted once on T.V. in my city maybe sixteen years ago. It has the promotional videoclips from the "Invisible Touch" album, plus some scenes on stage and backstage, and some interviews and jokes with Collins, Banks, Rutherford, and even with Chester Thompson and Daryl Stuermer, who are asked about how they joined the band as auxiliary members for the tours.

The videoclips:

"Anything She Does": sorry, but I can`t remember anything about this videoclip.

"Throwing it All Away" has some scenes of Genesis playing this song on stage, but the sound is from the studio version.

"Tonight, Tonight, Tonight" is the edited version for the single, with Collins in most of the scenes.

"Land Of Confusion" is the best of all the videoclips, with puppets designed for the three members of the band, and appearances of several characters (in puppet design too): Ronald Reagan and wife, Michael Jackson, etc. A very well done and funny videoclip.

"In Too Deep": the three members of Genesis dressed a la Barry Manilow, doing a playback to the music of this song, with Collins at the front. One of the worst videoclips that I have seen from them. Too much "sugar". Very commercial, "specially dedicated to MTV". "Are you sure that they are the same musicians who played in "Foxtrot" ?"

"Invisible Touch": this is a somewhat funny videoclip, with the three members doing a playback to this song in a film studio designed "stage", with Banks and Rutherford showing their "skills" playing the drums!

In conclusion: as previous reviewers wrote, I also think that if you liked the "Invisible Touch" album, you are going to like some parts of this VHS video too. If you despise the music that Genesis composed in the eighties, don`t buy it.

3 stars By all means not an essential video to owe,but what the hell if your into Genesis it's worth finding out a bit about their 1986 tour. It features all the Hit Videos from the Invisible Touch video, as seeing previous reviews not a lot of you are impressed I guess I can understand why!. Benn ... (read more)
