Progressive Biography
Date of birth: 1965.
I was first introduced to progressive rock in ...
I don`t remember well, but I think it was in 1972-1973 when I listened to YES`s first album and later YES`s "Fragile" album. But in 1975-1976 I listened to FOCUS`s "Moving Waves" album, KING CRIMSON`s "In the Court of the Crimson King" album, and in 1977 KING CRIMSON`s "U.S.A." album, and I started to really listen to the music (keyboards, guitars, drums, bass, vocals, etc.), trying to analyse the contribution of each instrument to the final piece of music. All these albums were brought to my parents` house by my older brothers. But by 1979, when I bought GENESIS` "...and then there were three..." album, and later GENESIS`"Seconds Out" album, I really began to collect albums of Prog Music and Rock music in general (The Beatles, The Who,etc.). By 1980 I began to try to understand the lyrics.
