ABOUT PROG ARCHIVES
The Prog Archives Web site Project came out from a common dream of a small group of fanatic progressive rock music collectors who decided to develop a WEB SITE for the online progressive rock music community, with the goal of providing extensive Progressive Rock Music information, as well as interaction features for the prog surfers.
We have been collecting this DATA for quite some time, but we are far from finished. There are still plenty of old records to be remembered and added to the site, plus all the new creations that are being made. We not only welcome any feedback you may have about the site, but any help you can provide us.
We appreciate your support, and your feed back is very important to us, cause we are always looking forward to become... We have a small staff, and all of us have a primary job, so we work our asses off to get the whole thing up and running on our spare time.
Whether you are an artist, producer, recording engineer, record label or just a fan and don't see a record that you feel should be in this web page, please contact us. We welcome any chance to improve this site.

Progarchives.com is committed to helping progressive rock & related advertisers to benefit from our popularity and traffic (over 2,5 millions pages viewed per month from 600,000 visits).
To remain strong and innovative we need to accomodate advertisers.
In the past we have accepted generic advertising, throught networks like Google AdSense and Tribal Fusion. We want to stop using these generic advertisers and offer our traffic to direct banners advertisers with a relationship to prog music.
To replace all the banners and text link ads from generic advertisers from our third-party network, we need to find banners advertisers, monthly featured artist, web store links and more.
So we have create a special package:
- 30 (maximum) randomly equally distributed rotative 728x90/468x60 banners available for the site and forum.
- Average more than 80,000 ad impressions per 30 days per banner.
- USD 100$ per banner for 30 days.
- Pay through PayPal (payment to max@progarchives.com) any time in the month, you'll end up with 1 month (30 days) of advertising

Also, if you see any wrong info regarding a Band or a Title, please let us know so it can be fixed.
BAND BIOGRAPHY NOT COMPLETED
Our intention is to host the most complete progressive music (Art Rock - Progressive Metal - Canterbury / Jazz Fusion / RIO - Krautrock - Psychedelic / Space Prog Rock - Symphonic Prog Rock - Zheul) discography and describes
them. Every band is a welcome addition whether they were active 35 years ago or even if it's a younger one.
However, it is and heavy task and therefore we need help of collaborators. If you know a band that should be described or featured here, please send us information about the band and we will add them to the database.
We need to know the following information:
1- 1st paragraph: Short history, list of current and former members, style & similar bands
2- 2nd paragraph: Describe the better cds without mentioning their songs
3- End with mention (recommended, highly recommended or not)
Special Notes: When using band name ... write them in UPPER CASE and album name must be between "..." ex: MARILLION "Brave".
